How are you all doing? I'm doing quite good, considering that I now have 3 hard classes this semester: German 1, Algebra 2/Trig, and Chemistry. German 1 won't be too hard since I actually want to learn it and it interests me, but math and science aren't my top choices. I suck at those subjects. English is more my thing.
But anyways...

I was laying in my parents bed with my mom watching "Emma," part 1 on TV (I can't wait for part 2!! ) Anyways, while I was watching, I had this sudden urge to start writing. My imagination fired up and I really couldn't wait to begin. I didn't know what to write, but I knew it'd come to me sooner or later, and it did.

Today I was thinking... I knew what my new story was going to be about.
My idea is this:

_There'd be this orphanage, a little one with very few kids. Well, The main character and his orphan friends move to another, yet newer and grander, orphanage (and finds out that this new orphanage manager is his aunt).
_As the kids settle and a week goes by with much comfort and hospitality, they find a secret area in the back of the orphanage's backyard. It leads to another place where fantasy and imagination ensues. *gasp* *ooh, ahh* (lol)
_They find that this new "dream world" has it's benefits and fun, but when someone from the orphanage disappears, the kids can only blame themselves and turn their attension to the secret magical world. Could there be danger and other beings inside this new world? Evil things?

Wait and find out until I write the story. ;D

So, what'dya think? Is it amazing or what?! I was excited to learn that I could actually write this with my own idea!

My inspirations: Peter Pan; Alice in Wonderland; The Secret Garden; The Spiderwick Chronicles; The Chronicles of Narnia; The Golden Compass; Harry Potter; The Septimus Heap series; The Keys to the Kingdom series; etc.....

I think it'll be good. And I can do whatever I want with it. I'm not as restricted as I am with Autoburro.
